Worship Life
Worship is the heart of our ministry - and our most effective way of 'Knowing Christ and Making Christ Known.' We are committed to worship that engages us with the Holy God, and pushes us out into the world as empowered disciples.
Westminster is a congregation where the proclamation of the Word of God and the celebration of the Sacraments are the center of our worship.
†Sermon texts often come from the Revised Common Lectionary, an outline of the Bible that covers all of Scripture every three years. Pastors in many churches around the world follow this outline. It is also not uncommon for our pastors to depart from the lectionary to preach a sermon series.

†We praise God in a variety of worship styles, utilizing a wide range of music, instruments and liturgical approaches.
Our various worship styles might be described as Traditional, Contemporary, Alternative, Contemplative, Taizé, and even eclectic. Check the worship schedule to find which styles are most common at which hours.
Our worship is regularly led by vocal choirs for all ages; three separate worship teams/bands; several bell choirs; occasional ensembles of strings and brass; a full concert band at Christmas, and numerous other instrumentalists throughout the year. Special music services are offered periodically.
†The Sacraments are administered regularly.
Baptism for infants or adult is offered after attending a class.
Parents who wish baptism for their child must have some connection to the church family. See Policies
Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month and at other times throughout the church year, and is open to all believers, together with their children.
†Child care is available at all services.
We welcome people of all ethnic origins and life styles.
