Flower Delivery

Every week the flowers used in Sunday service are delivered to people in need.  People that receive them include those in hospitals and nursing homes and those sick at home.  Anyone in the congregation is welcome to take the flowers to someone they know in need by contacting Ann Hatfield.

Contact Ann Hatfield for flower delivery.  If you are interested in donating flowers, contact Marge Muehlberger.

Casserole Delivery

Casseroles are made by members of the congregation and delivered to anyone in need including those who have just had a baby, or are returning from the hospital after surgery.  Anyone in the congregation is welcome to take a casserole to someone that they know in need.  Casseroles are stored in the church freezer.  Please fill out the sign-in/sign-out sheet whenever you put in or take out a casserole.

If you are interested in baking a casserole, recipes and containers are available at the church information booth.

Worship Services to Assisted Living Home Residents

"Worship in the Homes" is a group led by the deacons of Westminster who visit three West Chester nursing homes once every 3 months to provide fellowship. An entire service is provided including music; church members, small groups, youth and families are encouraged to participate.  It's a tremendous opportunity to share fellowship and offer comfort.

Visits to Pembrook, Barclay Friends, and Brandywine Hall are on Sunday afternoons between 2-4pm; the dates are advertised in advance in the weekly News & Events.
