Fellowship

The Deacon Ministry Fellowship Team sponsers events throughout the year to bring Westminster members together to share in food, fun, and fellowship.  

Everyone and their families are welcome to participate in the events and are invited to help out if you'd like.  For more information on how to get involved or attend, email Lynae Young or check at the Information Booth.

Night in Bethleham - To begin the Advent season, Westminster morphs into the little town of Bethlehem as it appeared when Jesus was born.  You will see Roman soldiers as well as townspeople going about their daily lives.  There are opportunities to make crafts and experience the marketplace.  Foods that were commonly eaten are displayed and can be tasted.  Dressing in clothes of the period is also a wonderful way to be totally immersed in the experience.  Further information about this event will be found in the weekly news bulletin in the fall. 

Pancake Supper - To begin the season of Lent, each Ash Wednesday before the evening worship service, the congregation is invited to share in a pancake supper.  Pancakes are served with a choice of toppings, as well as the most delicious sausages in the world!  Tickets for this event are available a few weeks before the event and they go quickly, so keep an eye on the weekly news bulletin in the early weeks of the New Year for further information.
