Preschool Staff

Our qualified teachers have college degrees in education as well as experience working with young children.  Each teacher is supported by a teacher's aide who has experience working with preschool aged children.  Our staff's enthusiasm for working with children provides a warm and caring environment for socializationa and learning.

Jackie Steinmetz - Preschool Director

Jackie has worked fourteen years with the preschool and this is her tenth year as Preschool Director.  She has worked in the education field for thirty-two years. Jackie teaches the Parent & Me Class on Friday mornings and the Learning and Fun class on Thursday afternoons.  Her office hours are from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, with the exception of her Thursday afternoon and Friday morning class.  She is the mother of two daughters and the grandmother of three.  She has been a member of Westminster Presbyterian since 1981 and has been active as a Sunday School techer, Vacation Bible School teacher, Deacon and choir member.

Sharleen Espedal - Preschool Business Manager

Sharleen has worked 14 years with the preschool.  She has a degree in Business Management and a background in accounting information systems.  Her office hours will be from 9:00 am -3:00 pm on Mondays and during the morning hours on Tuesday through Friday.  She is the mother of two children, a son at Bucknell University and a daughter in tenth grade at Rustin High School.,  She has been a member of Westminsterr Presbyterian Church since 1990 and has been active with Vacation Bible School and Mother's Group.

Sarah Jones - Preschool Administrative Assistant

Sarah has worked 8 years with the Preschool.  Her office hours are from 8:45 am - 12:45 am on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and from 8:45 am - 3:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday.  You may also see her in the classroom as a substitute teacher's aide when needed.  She is the mother of three children, a son at Uppatinas and a daughter and son at Starkweather Elementary.   Sarah attends Westminster Presbyterian Church and she has been very active in Vacation Bible School.
