Children's Ministry - Childcare
|
|
In the infant and toddler rooms of Westminster's Childcare, we nurture children physically, emotionally and spiritually. The children learn about God's love for them through wonderful Bible stories, guided free play, and circle time with snack, stories, and music designed just for little ones.
Jill Pyle -Coordinator Childcare is offered during all worship services on Sundays and in support of select church functions on weekdays.

The children are cared for by a great staff as well as by parent volunteers. Our childcare staff provides consistency for the children and maintains high standards in health and safety. Each room in childcare is equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment. We strive to see that each child will begin to feel and understand Jesus' love for him or her.
Our requests of you, as a parent, are the following:
- Please take time to learn the policies and procedures of our childcare rooms. Brochures about childcare are available in the narthex and outside of Childcare.
- Please fulfill your parent-volunteer obligations in the nursery.
- Communicate your child's needs to the staff.
- Kindly communicate your concerns and suggestions to the staff.
- Enjoy the activity or ministry in which you are participating, knowing that your child is in good care.
Childcare Volunteers
On Sunday mornings from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, the nursery utilizes volunteers to help care for children ages six weeks through three years while their parents attend worship or Sunday School. There is a consistent staff caring for the children in both childcare rooms, supported by parent volunteers. Parents using childcare are asked to commit to volunteering at least two times during the year.
For additional questions or to volunteer please contact Jill Pyle.
