Local in West Chester area:
Adult Care of Chester County – a day care for the elderly and lonely.
Broad Street Ministry - an innovative urban ministry that emphasizes hospitable outreach, civic involvement, and creative expression.
Cares Food Network – provides emergency food and prescription, referral, housing and utilities assistance for the poor.
Chester County Migrant Ministry – supports Hispanic migrants in Chester County with a variety of services.
Community Volunteers in Medicine – provides medical, dental and vision care for the uninsured.
Home of the Sparrow – supports and provides homes for homeless women and children.
Good Works –transforms substandard houses into warmer, safer and drier homes.
His Mission – a shelter in Kennett Square for the homeless.
La Iglesia – a Hispanic church and ministry in S. Chester County.
Mission Relief –collects, processes and ships medical and surgical supplies worldwide to needy hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Meals on Wheels – delivers meals to the homebound.
Project One – supports families and individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
West Chester Area Senior Center – supports the elderly through education, recreation, meals, social events, blood pressure checks, etc.
Safe Harbor – a shelter for the homeless.
Wentworth Home – located in West Chester, this small community provides housing and care for the elderly.
National:
Canvasback Missions – provides healthcare to poor islanders in the South Pacific.
Centurion Ministries – works to free innocent people serving a life or death sentence for rape and/or murder they did not commit.
Habitat for Humanity – builds houses for the poor in the USA and around the world.
International:
Bridge to Honduras – provides support, mission outreach and trips to Honduras.
Bread for the World – advocates and seeks justice for the hungry. Each year in the Spring, members and friends of Westminster and Dilworthtown write letters to their representatives in Congress encouraging them to pass legislation that addresses the needs of poor people in the US and overseas.
Estado 29 - an orphanage in Mexico. Westminster youth work here each year.
Hands Along the Nile – builds bridges between the people of Egypt and the US and supports programs aimed at bringing socioeconomic stability to poor Egyptian communities.
Pakistan Bible Correspondence Institute and Christian Recording Ministries –provides Christian correspondence courses and audio/visual programs, and visits prisoners. (Through Amos Pervez.)
Serving at the Crossroads – partners with Hondurans, the NGO, Manos Amigas and others to provide medical and health care to the people living in the area of La Entrada.
World Vision - a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Westminster and Dilworthtown families currently sponsor nearly 300 children in 4 countries: Haiti, Ethiopia, Armenia and Albania.
Wycliffe Bible Translators – translates the Bible and educates children of missionaries. (Through the Kuiken family.)
Youth with a Mission – trains and sends out mission teams to 50 nations for Christian education and relief work. (Through the Haines family.)
