Bible Study Groups

Do you have questions and a desire to hear what God might say to you through His Word? Whether you are new to studying the Bible or have studied it in depth, we encourage you to join us in one of our Bible study groups - together we can read, study and discuss and often enjoy a cup of coffee and fellowship too!

Below is a listing of some of the study groups that meet at Westminster or in homes. For additional learning opportunities look at our Academy classes or Other Adult Classes.

S-Groups  

These community groups are designed for people to get to know each other, grow in their faith, and provide an experience where spiritual growth can happen.  Groups are made up of about 6-12 people and meet on a regular basis for study, fellowship, spiritual growth, and prayer. A Woman's Heart - God's Dwelling Place

Facilitator: Marcia Case
Date: Wednesdays -Starting September 19th - weekly through April, 2008
Time: 9:15 am-11:15 am OR 7:00 pm-9:00 pm

Description:  Taken primarily from the Book of Exodus, A women's Heart: God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore, will take you on a fascinating journey into why God would chose to live in a wilderness tabernacle, made of human hands. The study is guided by a combination of videos, workbooks and small group discussions. Women of all ages are welcome to join this study which meets weekly. Childcare is available at morning sessions.

Men's Breakfast Study Group

Facilitator: Men of Westminster (MOW)
Date: 2nd Saturday of each month - starting in September.
Time: 8:00 am - 9:30

Description:  Thought provoking topics focused on God's work in our world and in men's lives.  Enjoy Study, Fellowship and breakfast too!

Retired Men

Date: Weekly on Tuesdays.
Time: 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Description: topics of social, spiritual and intellectual significance vary by week.

Woman's Circles

Facilitator: Westminster Presbyterian Women (WPW)
Date:  Second Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday of each month
Time: 9:30 am

Description:  Westminster Presbyterian Women (WPW) offer monthly Bible Studies. Decide on which time is convenient for your schedule. Studies will start again in September, 2007.
