Art Enrichment Class - This program is designed to teach the children about different types of art and the artist who produced it. Each lesson will focus on a different artist. The children will learn about the style of that artist, work on an art project from his/her style, have large motor playtime, and eat lunch.   This two-hour program will be offered one time per month.

Kathy Leppert is our Art Enrichment teacher.  Kathy graduated from college with an art degree.  This is her third year at our preschool as our Art Enrichment teacher.  Kathy also has experience working with children at a local school.

Cooking/Music Enrichment Class - This program is designed to allow the children a hands on experience in the preparation and cooking of different items.  Many of the 'delicacies' are theme related, depending on the holiday of the month the class is held.  Music is incorporated throughout the class time for additional fun.  In addition to the Cooking and Music time, children will have large motor playtime, and eat lunch.   This two-hour program will be offered one time per month.

Elena Silvesti is our Cooking Enrichment teacher.  This is her fourth year as a teacher in our three-year-old Wed/Fri class and her second year teaching the Cooking Enrichment program.

Additional Art/Cooking Enrichment Information:

Each Art/Cooking Enrichment class is held on one Tuesday per month.  Classes are available in the morning, for those preschoolers attending a regular afternoon class, or in the afternoon, to accomodate those in a regular morning class.  A child not attending preschool on the scheduled enrichment day may sign up for either class.  Morning enrichment classes run from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm and the afternoon enrichment class runs from 12 noon until 2:00 pm.   Children bring a bagged lunch (no peanut products please due to severe allergies).  Children who attend a morning enrichment class will eat their lunch from 12 noon until 12:30 pm, where they will be taken by the enrichment teacher to join their afternoon class in car line.  Children who attend a regular morning preschool class will be taken to the enrichment room at 12 noon, where they will eat their lunch and attend the afternoon enrichment session.  Children not attending a regular preschool class on the enrichment day will be able to eat their lunch with the other children and will then be picked up at the appropriate time by a parent or guardian.
