Christians Organized to Provide Encouragement
COPE
Many of us are facing significant challenges in this time of financial uncertainty: finding a new job, difficulty making mortgage payments, living on less, reduced retirement funds, necessary home repairs going unfinished.
In response, a new ministry, Christians Organized to Provide Encouragement (COPE), has formed at Westminster. Its charter is to provide emotional and spiritual support through a variety of means and offer professional advice by hosting a series of networking events.
EDUCATIONAL EVENTS: None scheduled.
COPE CAREER NETWORKING GROUP (CCNG)
Have you been laid off or concerned that you will be in the near future? The CCNG provides a forum for those in transition to receive guidance, resources, search strategies and networking opportunities which should contribute to a more effective career campaign. Our goal is to help each other network into local organizations where we would like to work. CCNG will meet the last Monday of each month beginning November 2009, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in The Cove, room 407-408. Watch the weekly newsletter and pastor's update for any updates. Childcare will be provided; however, pre-registration is necessary. If you require childcare, please contact Jill Pyle at jillcpyle@yahoo.com or call 610.363.7698 so that we may adequately staff the nursery.
