Help Parents: Donate Diapers

1 in 3 US Moms report suffering from diaper need which is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep an infant or toddler clean, dry and healthy. We’re collecting diapers and wipes during the Month of May for distribution to 7 organizations in Chester County that work with families in need of diapers. Diapers and wipes can be left in collection bins in Cafe 10 West or purchased online and delivered directly to the church. Honor a mom you know by donating diapers and wipes this month. Questions? Contact Angela Emrich

Did you miss one of the presentations from the Strategic Vision Team? In this 19 minute video you’ll learn about our five new Guideposts that will act as a compass, with Christ at the center. They will help move us forward in “Knowing Christ, Making Christ Known” for our time. This vision is not just for Westminster’s growth, but, with God’s help, is a manifestation of the gospel of Jesus Christ among and beyond us.

Join Our Wednesday Wisdom Group in May

4:30-6:00 pm Wednesdays, May 7-28 • Zoom Only
Wednesday Wisdom will offer a wonderful space to bring your favorite book(s) or podcast to share with a web of wise women. Our intent is to discuss how these readings shape your way of knowing, offer new insights or perspectives and give you wisdom for these days. With contemplative pondering questions we explore how God continues to invite us to grow in wisdom and stature as we are stretched to learn together in community and to serve others in our world.

Bring in Homemade Cookies or Brownies on Sunday

Another school year is coming to an end. Cheyney University students are preparing for finals week. We will provide them with cookie/brownie treats to show them we are thinking of them, and to help them get through finals week. If you love to bake, we need you! Each bag should include 3 cookies or one large brownie per each clear bag. No nuts please! We are hoping for 12-24 bags per each baker. We will collect treats before each service on Sunday, May 4 in Spellman Hall and deliver them to the students on Monday, May 5.
