Donate Pasta for Broad Street in July

This July, support Broad Street Love by donating boxes of pasta (all types welcome!) to our Pasta Drive. Located in Center City, Broad Street Love is more than a soup kitchen. It is a place of connection and community, offering daily meals (over 300/day), personal hygiene items, mail services, and personalized support — all within a welcoming, safe space. Guests are not just served food; they are invited to a sit-down, restaurant-style lunch where they are greeted with kindness and respect. Drop off pasta in designated collection bins. Whether it’s a single box or a full bag of donations, every contribution helps fight hunger and hardship for someone in need.

Westminster’s Thrift Shop Reopens July 7

The Westminster Thrift Shop Board, manager, and volunteers thank you for the support and patience you’ve given during the recent flooding of the Westminster Thrift Shop. We are pleased to announce the thrift shop will reopen its doors on Monday, July 7. Its summer hours are 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays through August 20.

Support Camp Spark

Stay after church on Sunday to help set up and decorate for Camp SPARK! This includes room set-ups, workshop supply baskets, balloon arches, workshop signs, check-in stations, etc. Many hands make light work.

Donate old clean pillows (polyester fiber fill) and blankets. Some of our Camp SPARK campers will make dog beds for the local SPCA out of these supplies. If you have any of these items that you are looking to replace at home, consider donating your old items for this Upcycle Workshop. All items must be clean. Items can be brought into the office or placed on the back tables of Room 405 – in Heckert Wing.

Attend Camp SPARK’s Closing Worship Service
11:00 am Friday, June 27 • Sanctuary & Live Stream
Next week children will learn different elements of worship at Camp Spark including percussion/drumming reflection, stories told in freeze frame & drama, creative scripture reading, chorus/music, and liturgical dance/movement. On Friday morning, come out to support our children when they will lead us in an hour long worship in the various ways they’ve learned and practiced throughout the week.

Join the Summer Choir

8:15 am Sundays, July 6 –  August 31
We invite adults and high school age youth to sing in worship.  Drop in one week or hang out for the summer. On Sundays, anyone who wishes to sing that morning can meet in the Music Room at 8:15 am to practice an anthem and response for that morning’s 9:00 am worship service. Come and sing!

Donate Pillows & Blankets for Camp SPARK

Some of our Camp SPARK campers will make dog beds for the local SPCA out of old fleece blankets and old pillows (polyester fiber fill). If you have any of these items that you are looking to replace at home, consider donating your old items for this Upcycle Workshop. All items must be clean. Items can be brought into the office or placed on the back tables of Room 405 – in Heckert Wing.

New Sunday Children’s Ministry, SummerConnect Begins on Sunday

Starting Sunday, our Sunday children’s ministry will look a little different. For four weeks we will focus on different learning styles each week, including Drama/Storytelling, Music, Mission/Service, and Art. We will combine all ages (Age 3 – Gr. 5) for the summer. Nursery Care will continue to be available for younger children (6 months – 4 years old). If you can provide extra hands-on help, learn more here.  Yes, there is a cross-over of ages for those kiddos who are not quite ready for a class setting. Each child has different needs, so we try to provide that flexibility to help meet those needs.
