This year once again focuses on nutrition, which includes those experiencing hunger in the United States. This has taken on greater urgency with the coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. The economic fall from the pandemic will cause hunger to become more widespread in the U.S. and worldwide. The number of people experiencing extreme hunger globally could nearly double to 265 million according to the U.N. World Food Program.
