    Teams of 16-22 people (18 years and older) will participate in various construction projects for homes damaged in recent hurricanes.  The housing for the volunteers for all six trips will be hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, NC, which has been identified and approved through PDA.  Identifying specific work sites, construction projects and work oversight will be managed by Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM) – whose mission is to make people safer in their homes.  WARM was founded in 1996 and serves low-income home owners.   

    Day One

    • Travel by vans/cars to Wilmington, NC 
    • Welcome and Orientation by PDA and host site

    Day Two-Five

    • Participate in various construction projects for homes damaged in recent hurricanes    

    Day Six

    • Complete unfinished construction projects and clean rebuilding areas 
    • Travel home by vans/cars
