Before joining Westminster in 2000, Don served as the pastor of Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, MD; as an associate pastor at both First Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, VA, and Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in music education, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He grew up in Cincinnati, OH. Don and his wife Linda live in Pocopson Township. Don has two children—Sarah Hope, who is a neuroscientist working in Cambridge, MA, and András, who is active in musical theatre in the MD, DE, PA, and NY region as well as working several months of the year in Hungary. When not working, Don enjoys traveling, home projects, music, cooking and fly fishing.
Jennie Byler Clark grew up in Broomall, PA, graduated with a B.A. from Grove City College, and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. She’s also certified to lead contemplative prayer groups and retreats through the Shalem Institute. Prior to joining Westminster’s team in 2015, Jennie served as a pastor for congregations in Enumclaw, WA; Millville, NJ; Strasburg, PA; and Saline, MI; and as a hospice chaplain in NJ, CA, and MI. She’s now an associate pastor at Westminster and responsible for Adult Spiritual Growth Ministries, working with small groups, adult classes, and new members.
Jennie and her husband, Steve, have been married for 35 years and have two married children and three grandchildren. Jennie enjoys gardening, walking, hiking, creative activities, and traveling.
Jon was born in northern Idaho but has lived in the suburban Philadelphia area most of his life. He received a B.A. in music and theology at Eastern University. After college, Jon spent a year living with the Estado 29 community, a home for children located outside of Ensenada, Mexico. Jon joined the staff of Westminster in August 2004 as the Director of Youth and Alternative Worship. After beginning the ordination process in the PC (USA) in 2007, Jon received his Master of Divinity in 2010 from Biblical Seminary, with additional studies at Dubuque and Lancaster Theological Seminaries. Jon loves participating in a wide variety of worship expressions and has a passion for encouraging the intersection of worship and mission in the Christian life. He plays classical guitar and is fluent in Spanish.
Jon and his wife Rachel love to cook together, travel, and follow the Phillies for better or worse. They have two children, Henri and Lena, and live in West Chester with their two dogs, Boaz and Mordecai.
Ann Hatfield grew up in Swarthmore, PA. She graduated with a B.S. in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and received a Master of Divinity at Palmer Theological Seminary. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Ann worked as a civil engineer and preschool teacher. Ann joined Westminster in January 2011 and is responsible for directing the outreach ministries and coordinating the pastoral care for the congregation. Ann and her husband, Jim, have been married for 30 years and have two grown sons, Daniel and Michael. When not working, Ann enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and playing squash.
Chris grew up in Lancaster, PA. He graduated with a B.A in youth ministry and biblical studies from Eastern University. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Chris worked as the Director for Children and Youth at a church in Devon, PA. Chris joined Westminster in 2015 and is responsible for year round programs and activities for teens, training and organizing adult volunteers, and cultivating community and spiritual growth among youth and their families.
Chris and his wife Jess have two children, Hadley and Bodi. In his free time Chris loves long distance running, getting lost in good music, watching Wes Anderson films, and spending quality time with his family.
Nancy grew up in Aldan, PA and attended Penn State University, majoring in Business Logistics. She joined Westminster in 2007 and has volunteered in Vacation Bible School, KidsJam and Sunday school. She is currently a stay-at-home mom and continues to volunteer in the community.
Nancy and Brian Brink met at PSU have been married for 27 years. They have raised their two teenage children in West Chester. She enjoys gardening, kayaking and spending time at the beach with her family.
As Music Director at Westminster, Bob oversees all aspects of the church’s acclaimed music program. He directs a 60-member children’s choir, a 50-member youth choir and is the director/conductor of the renowned Westminster Chancel Choir, 100+ singers strong. It has been Bob’s great honor to conduct many masterworks with the choir in the Philadelphia area, Washington, D.C., New York City, and three times throughout Europe. A graduate of West Chester University and Westminster Choir College, Bob received the prestigious 2009 Distinguished Music Alumnus Award from West Chester University for his outstanding contributions in music, both at Westminster and as a Music Teacher in the Great Valley School District for 25 years.
Bob is married to his husband, Glenn Kinckner, who is the Assistant Director and Principal Organist at the church. In their free time they love being at the shore where they have a summer home.
Glenn Kinckner holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from West Chester University in music education with piano and voice majors. He works closely with the Music Director on all aspects of Westminster’s music program. Traveling with the choir, Glenn has played at churches throughout Europe including St. Thomas in Leipzig, Germany, and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Glenn was Principal Organist at First Presbyterian Church West Chester, a position he held for 23 years, and was the Vocal Music Teacher at Cynwyd Elementary School in the Lower Merion School District for over 30 years. In addition to classroom music and school choirs, Glenn directed the Lower Merion School District Elementary Chorus. His organ teachers include: Ferdinand Melenke, Harry Wilkinson, and Robert Plimpton. Glenn is also joint founder of M.K.M. Productions, a summer youth theater workshop, and is the accompanist for J. W. Pepper’s choral workshops.
Glenn is married to his husband Robert Morris who is the Director of Music at Westminster. They love spending their free time at their summer home at the shore.
Ron Bellamy joined the Westminster staff in 2008 as the handbell choir director. He first picked up a handbell in 1979 and became the director of a handbell choir in 1997. He has rung bells professionally with the Philadelphia Handbell Ensemble, Bell Amis (pronounced “Bellamy”) a small ensemble of 5–7 ringers), and Bell a deux (a duet team with Bobbi Schmid). He’s also been a bell soloist since 1994 and a clinician and performer at many national handbell conferences. A graduate of the University of Scranton, Ron's full-time profession is in accounting/credit.
In July 2016, Ron married Linda Lorgus, Westminster's former handbell director and organist, and together they perform at many venues in the tristate area.
Before joining Westminster in February 2013, Gerry spent 36 years in financial services, the last 20 in wealth management working for Wilmington Trust, Wachovia, and BNY Mellon. He and his wife Carol reside in Kennett Square and have four children--Michael, Daniel, Caitlyn, and Connor--and three grandchildren. When he’s not working, Gerry enjoys singing in the Westminster Chancel Choir. One of his great passions is educating others about wine and how to enjoy it. Other interests include cooking, listening to music, reading, and traveling.
Lynn grew up in Hershey, PA. She graduated with a B.A. in communication and film from Messiah College. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Lynn worked as the Social Media Specialist at MCP Interactive, a marketing company in Central PA. She also owns her own business, Lilliput Productions, where she does photography, videography, and website design. Lynn joined Westminster in 2016 and is responsible for all the communications from Westminster, including the church website, social media, weekly emails, technology, as well as all the printed material found in the church. In her free time, Lynn loves traveling around the world, reading a good book, sailing, biking, watching too many movies or TV shows, and spending time with friends and family.
Donna has been Financial Administrator and Treasurer since 2002. She is responsible for the financial records and reporting for General Fund, Capital Fund, Endowment Fund and Thrift Shop. Record keeping of contributions, systems administrator, payroll and stewardship liaison are among many of her job tasks. Previous job experience was in banking, insurance company accountant and auditor and an accountant for a resort developer in South Carolina. Previous volunteer opportunities were Hillsdale Elementary PTO Treasurer, Hillsdale Site Based Management Team, West Chester Friends of the Orchestra Treasurer, Co-Moderator for Westminster Presbyterian Women and volunteer coordinator for Collegium Charter School. She and her husband Connor have been members of Westminster since 1995. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
Karen grew up in Warren, MI, and attended Michigan State University and Neumann University, where she earned a business degree. Since 1991, Karen’s passion has been coaching the boys and girls high school tennis teams at Penncrest and Garnet Valley and running a community-based tennis camp every summer. Before joining Westminster in 2015 as a Financial Assistant, Karen spent 15 years as the Assistant General Manager for the Healthplex Sports Club.
Karen moved to Delaware County after marrying Edward Randel in 1978. They now have three grown children and currently six grandchildren. When not working, Karen and her husband can be found traveling the country playing the top 100 golf courses in the United States.
Barb grew up in Westminster and joined as a confirmand in 1962. Her responsibilities at Westminster have included a plethora of tasks over the years. Currently, Barb’s main responsibilities is to insure all the church’s office tasks are completed in an efficient, timely fashion. She maintains the church’s facility calendar and membership database; schedules all baptisms, funerals, and weddings; and thoroughly enjoys assisting our congregants and staff with any issues brought to her attention. Barb graduated from Goldey Beacom with a secretarial degree, and prior to joining Westminster’s team in 2004, she worked as an administrative assistant with the Franciscan Health System. After 19 years on the job, she retired to raise her two children, Michelle and James. Between them, Barb and her husband Don have 7 children, 15 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. When not working, Barb enjoys singing with the Chancel Choir and spending time with her family—especially babysitting for her new granddaughter!
Linda Irwin grew up in Kennett Square, PA. She graduated from Kennett High School with a high school diploma and a degree from Goldey Beacom. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Linda worked in the Kennett schools as a Teacher’s Aide and Library Clerk. Linda and her husband Dan have been married 16 years and have five grandchildren and two dogs, Bubba and Gracie. They reside in Kennett Square. They became members at Westminster in 2007. Linda joined our staff in 2010 as our Sunday Receptionist and enjoys meeting and greeting everyone each week. Both she and Dan enjoy community service and borough life—lots to do in town and many great restaurants. Linda loves to read, walk, and ride her summer cruiser.
Before joining Westminster in March 2020, Stacie Wong worked in the advertising field, digital, print, and events. She has worked for The Daily Local News in West Chester and The Philadelphia Inquirer in Philadelphia. She graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Business and Marketing and grew up in Glenside. In her role as Administrative Assistant at Westminster Presbyterian Church, she will act as a liaise between all departments and perform general office duties.
When not working, Stacie enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to live music, traveling, and trying out new recipes. She is also passionate jigsaw puzzle solver and a competitive cribbage player.
Jackie Steinmetz grew up in Morton, PA, and graduated from Ridley High School. She earned a B.S. in elementary education from Mansfield State College and took post graduate courses at Temple University and Penn State University. She became a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in 1981 and has served as a Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School Preschool director, Christian Education committee member, deacon, and Chancel Choir member. She’s also been a part of two different church dinner groups for more than 35 years. As the chairperson of the preschool board, Jackie started Westminster’s Preschool in January 1994, and in 1998 she became the school’s director.
Jackie and her husband, Chip, have been married for 44 years and have two daughters and four grandchildren. She and Chip now live with two cats, Thumbs and Lexi, but have cared for many other cats over the years--mostly Siamese. During her free time, Jackie loves to go to her grandchildren’s sporting events, read, exercise, and spend happy times with her staff members at the preschool.
Sara was born in Coventry, England, and moved to the U.S. as a small child and grew up near Media, PA. Before graduating from high school, she started working as a File Clerk for a third- party professional liability insurance company. After her high school graduation, Sarah obtained her insurance license, and within a few years she became the Underwriting Director for the Lawyers Professional Liability Department, where she remained for more than 10 years. Sarah decided to end her insurance career to become a stay-at-home mom shortly after her daughter Abbi was born. When she began working at Westminster’s preschool in 2000, so Abbi could attend school there, she immediately found her church home as well. And 17 years later, she’s still happy to be here.
Sarah met her husband Martin in 1983 when both were teenagers and he moved here with his family from Scotland so his father could be the new pastor at her church. The Jones family has three children-- Adam, Abbi, and Aidan--and two dogs. They all love Sprint car racing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and spending time together at their lake house.
Karen grew up in Johnstown, PA, and graduated from Westmont High School. Prior to joining Westminster’s team, Karen worked in Bethlehem, PA, as an Office Assistant at an electrical company. Karen joined Westminster’s team as Receptionist/Secretary from 1989-2008, and in 2008 she became the Thrift Shop Manager.
Karen and her husband Dave have been members for 34 years and have two children Matthew and Katie. During those 34 years Karen has been involved in many aspects of the church. She was a Deacon, taught Sunday School, Chaired the Christian Education Committee and Youth Council, was Director of VBS and Sunday School Superintendent and served on various other committees. In recent years, she sings with the Chancel Choir and is on the Prayer Chain. When not working, Karen enjoys being with her family and grandchildren, spending time with friends, and going to the shore.
Before joining Westminster's team in 2012, George worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and the Franklin Museum as a designer. He graduated from Lasalle where he studied computer design and designing. He grew up in Malvern, PA. George and his wife, Dorothy live in West Chester and has one daughter, April. When not working, George enjoys painting, photography, and cars.
Joe grew up in Southwest Philadelphia. He graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys. Prior to joining Westminster’s team in 2016, he was a custodian/cleaner in the Philly area. Joe and his partner, Kim have three daughters Erin, Marissa, and Shawna. When not working, Joe enjoys fishing, cooking, and avidly following all of the Philadelphia sports teams.
