Young Children & Worship (3 Yrs-Grade 5)

Children start the morning in the 10:30 am worship service with their families. After the Thought for Children we will dismiss to the Chapel.

We gather using the model of Young Children and Worship where children learn and experience worship and the story in ways that speak to children and their natural wonder and spiritual nature. Children will respond to the story in creative and artistic ways. Older children may be engaged as mentors or leaders in our gatherings to promote leadership skills and develop relationships.  

On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the sacrament of Communion. Everyone, regardless of age, is invited to the table. Children will remain in the sanctuary during the entire service to celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Note: Nursery children will remain in the Nursery. You’re invited to get your children from the Nursery and bring them into the Sanctuary for Communion.
