KidsConnect (Grade K-5)

Children start the morning in the 9:00 am worship service with their families. After the Thought for Children we will dismiss to the Heckert Education Center.

We will begin with a gathered time downstairs in the large gathering area to watch the Bible story unfold (in true storyteller fashion) and then wonder about the story and what it means for them. Then, they will break into their age-specific classroom time for “Sads & Glads” prayer time and small group response activities. They will explore God’s word using the Celebrate Wonder Curriculum.

On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the sacrament of Communion. Everyone, regardless of age, is invited to the table. Children will remain in the sanctuary during the entire service to celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Note: Nursery children will remain in the Nursery. You’re invited to get your children from the Nursery and bring them into the Sanctuary for Communion.

Please meet your children after class at 10:40am in these classrooms:

K- Grade 1 – Room 103   *Downstairs
Grades 2 & 3 – Room 405   *Upstairs
Grades 4 & 5 – Room 406   *Upstairs
