Youth Serve

Along with some occassional opportunities to serve their local and global community, there are some more regular opportunities for youth to participate with some of our community partners:

CASA Advent Challenge 2025: GOAL TBD

In partnership with CASA Youth Advocates, we are extending another challenge to Westminster youth to help us make court comfort bags at our annual Youth Group Christmas Party for youth and children in the child welfare system during their appointed hearings. On November 9 we’ll set our goal, collect items, and assemble bags at our annual Youth Group Christmas Party.

Soap for Hope Workshops

We partner with Educational Equity Alliance to support them in their Soap for Hope initiative. This workshop teaches youth how to make soap, helps build EEA’s soap inventory, and teaches youth about the importance of equity in our public education.

Next Workshop: stay tuned…

Safe Harbor Lunches

Youth can sign up to help pack bagged lunches for Safe Harbor in West Chester. Lunches are then provided for those who are unhoused and/or experiencing poverty.

Next Lunch Packing: September 14

MLK Jr. Day of Service

We invite you to this intergenerational event (adults, families with young kids or youth) to bring items to assemble lunches for The Vine Ministry on Martin Luther King Jr Day. You can also make lunches at home and drop them off under the church portico.

Next MLK Jr. Day of Service: January 19, 2026
