Concerts

The Chancel Choir, sometimes together with other Westminster choirs and ensembles, regularly performs concerts. In addition to a longstanding tradition of Christmas Concerts, recent choral performances have included Elgar’s Light of Life with Fauré’s Requiem (March 2025), Verdi’s Requiem (March 2024) and Brahms’s Requiem (March 2023).

Elevate Vocal Arts Workshop
Saturday – Sunday, February 21-22, 2026

A workshop for singers and non-singing worship leaders on Saturday celebrates the richness of the Black diaspora in liturgy and song, culminating in a Sunday concert. Calvin University Capella Choir
7:00 pm Wednesday, March 1, 2026

Coming off their performance at Carnegie Hall (NYC), Capella will present a one-hour concert as part of their choir tour commemorating Calvin University’s 150th Anniversary. No tickets needed, offering collected to benefit the choir’s tour. Come hear this renowned collegiate choir perform in our Sanctuary.

Spring Requiem Concert
4:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2026

Our choir, professional orchestra and soloists present their annual Requiem concert. Perkins, an American composer, combines texts by New England writers with traditional Requiem text. Paired with Mendelssohn’s joyous work centered on Psalm 150, this concert will culminate in the joy of life. Join us for this free concert.

The Music of America
4:00 pm Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Our season culminates with the choir’s presentation of American choral music that traces the evolution of music in America. Ranging from Sacred Harp to modern works, this celebration of The United States Semiquincentennial will be a wonderful afternoon concert.
