Winter Weather Schedule Change: Sunday, January 25
January 22, 2026Due to the significant winter storm forecast for our area, our 10:00 am worship service will be online only. The building will be closed on Sunday.
Our Annual Congregational Meeting will meet via Zoom only at 11:00 am. We strongly encourage your participation, as the annual meeting includes important updates in the life of Westminster; your vote on Terms of Call for pastors; election of Endowment Fund Board members; receiving the 2025 Annual report (Click here to read it) and receiving the 2026 budget. Gerry McShane’s retirement celebration has been postponed to February 8. All other activities planned for Sunday are cancelled or will meet online. Watch for updates from specific ministry areas for more details. Stay safe, and we look forward to worshiping and meeting together online.
Register for the Women’s Retreat

The world can feel overwhelming, and yet hope persists. Join women (16 and older) for a weekend of rest, renewal, and shared discovery. Together we will explore hope both spiritually and practically: the sacred stories that shape our lives and the practices that can set us free for vibrant, hope-filled living. This retreat offers a chance to step away from daily demands, breathe deeply, and reconnect with God’s gifts of strength and possibility. New Members Class

Interested to learn more about or become a member of Westminster? This class is for you! All are welcome. There’s no obligation to join. A light lunch will be provided. The Presbyterian Church (USA) and Westminster Presbyterian Church provide experiences of Christian community as a place of support, encouragement, reflection and conversation on God’s relationship with us. A New Year – A New Study

Join the Women’s Weekly Wednesday Bible Study as we discover Jesus’ invitation in the Sermon on the Mount. Children Grades 2-5: Communion Workshop
January 15, 202611:45 am – 2:00 pm Sunday, February 1 • The Site
Come learn about the Lord’s Supper in the Bible and how we celebrate this sacrament at Westminster. Lunch provided. Adults will have a break-out session for casual conversation on how they connect with the sacrament and our traditions at Westminster. Children will rotate through stations of hands-on learning experiences. We encourage participants to attend and help lead the Ash Wednesday service on February 18, when children will take Communion with their new-found understanding of the Lord’s Supper. Combined Worship Service & Annual Congregational Meeting

Join us as we hold one worship service at 10 am with our Chancel Choir & Worship Collective. Following the service, we will hold our annual meeting in the Sanctuary or via Zoom for the purpose of voting on terms of call for pastors, receiving the 2025 Annual Report, 2026 budget overview, and annual meeting of the Corporation. Following the annual meeting, we will celebrate Gerry McShane’s retirement after working 12 years as our Church Administrator at a reception in Spellman Hall.
Support the Fight Against Human Trafficking

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. We’re collecting household items for Dawn’s Place. Dawn’s Place supports women affected by commercial sexual exploitation and abuse by providing services to women, raising awareness and generating prevention. Bring items to church during the month of January and place them in the bins around the building. Questions? Email Brenda Schivito.
Consider the environment and reducing plastic as you make your donations. For example, detergent sheets, paper, and cardboard containers.

Camp SPARK’s Registration is Live!

Monday-Friday June 22 – 26 (8:00 am – 12:00 pm with optional afternoon component from 12:00 – 4:00 pm)

Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service

9:00-11:00 am Monday, January 19 • Kitchen/Café 10 West
Join us for our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. You can either make lunches at home and drop them off under the church portico, or bring your items to the church and assemble them in the main church kitchen. We encourage you to label each bag with the kind of sandwich it contains and write or draw messages of kindness on the bagged lunches for a personal connection for those receiving them. Each lunch should include:
- 1 meat/cheese sandwhich (roast beef or turkey – NO PORK)
- 1 bag of chips
- 1 piece of fruit (apple, clementine, etc)
- 1 granola bar
- 1 bottle water
