Highlight: Anxious Generation

Meet Lori Willingham and Rev. John Willingham, a retired school nurse and pastor in this short video (2.5 minutes). They introduce a workshop they’re holding from 5:30-7:30 pm May 4 & 5 on the book, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. We will discuss what the research tells us about an unintended impact of the digital age on today’s young people and steps that can be taken to halt this disturbing trend.

You don’t need to read the book ahead of time, but simply come with a desire to learn more and be part of the change. Meals and child care are provided. $10 suggested donation to cover the cost of the meals. Click here to register.
