New Journey Series: The Eyes of Your Heart

This class starts with meditation on a great work of art, and then moves to a meditation on a related scripture. This is a blending of two Christian meditation practices; lectio divina or “divine reading” and visio divina or “divine seeing.” By incorporating works of art (both familiar and new) into prayer, these practices invite us to bring our sense of sight as well as our imagination into our relationship with God.
