After 41 years of ordained ministry, including over 8 years at Westminster, Rev. Jennie Clark retires from her call as Associate Pastor for Spiritual Growth. Come hear Pastor Jennie preach her final sermon during both morning worship on Sunday, February 4. We will recognize and celebrate Pastor Jennie on her final Sunday in a combined worship service at 10 am on February 11 with Director of Youth and College Ministries Chris Clark preaching. Following the service, we will gather in Spellman Hall for a church-wide reception.

If you would like to share thoughts and memories about Jennie's leadership, you're invited to drop off photos, cards or letters in baskets found in the Narthex during the first two Sundays in February. You also can contribute to a monetary “Love Gift” which Pastor Jennie will receive in worship on February 11. Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. If you would like to donate toward this gift, there are several ways to do so, contact Ed McFalls for more info.

All money collected will go to the pantry to purchase food, self-care, and school supplies students might need during the school year. After the 10am service on February 11, youth will stand in the Narthex with large soup pots to collect cash and checks (made out to “Westminster Presbyterian”). Our goal is to beat our previous year’s total and reach $4,000 – we need your help! Questions? Contact Chris Clark.

And parents will have a separate time to learn and share, as well. Click here to signup. Questions? Contact Jill Reichert.

Modern family life is busy and full when you’re a parent or a teenager. There are so many places to be, activities to be on time for, and things to check off our to-do lists. Where does our spiritual centering come from in the midst of it all?

We are inviting families of teenagers (grade 6-12) to consider that question together by gathering together two times at the beginning of this year to share a meal together, share stories together, and set intentions together by crafting a "Rule of Life" for your family during the season of Lent.

A Rule of Life is not a rigid statute but a flexible guide to help you intentionally stay true to the values that are most important for your family. It helps provide some balance and centering in the midst of the ebbs and flows of life. Over dinner, your family will be guided through crafting your own Rule of Life to help you find your Center. Click here to sign up.
