Join our Women's Weekly Wed Morning Bible Study!

9:30 - 11:15 am Wednesdays, Sept. 21 - Dec. 14 • Hybrid (Spellman Jr & Zoom)

Join us in our new Fall study: The Gospel on the ground with Kristi McLelland - The book of Acts.

This study is for all women of any age, no experience is necessary. In this study, you will:

  • See how God's redemptive purposes are unstoppable in the book of Acts.
  • Gain deeper insight into the biblical world, including a fresh perspective on familiar Bible stories.
  • Ignite a passion to be on a mission by examining the work of the early church.
  • Find deep purpose and meaning at the table of God

Are you interested in being trained as a water team leader through Living Waters for the World? Well, now the training is closer than ever! The next Clean Water University is October 10-14 at Camp Johnsonburg in Johnsonburg, PA! Whether it’s project management/relationship development, health and spiritual education, or water system operations, choose the track that’s right for you! Welcome Pastor Leah!

We are excited to welcome our new Head of Staff, Leah Hrachovec to our staff next Monday, August 15, and on her first Sunday, August 21. We would like to give Pastor Leah and her family, a list of Favorites Places and things about Chester County as a way to help her family feel at home in Eastern PA. Click here to fill out a list of your favorite local foods, family restaurants, bakeries, ice cream shops, local orchards, prepared foods, and places to go (historical, museums, lakes, creeks, parks). We're also collecting info on things to do in Philadelphia, the Jersey, Maryland & Delaware shores (info about the different towns etc.), mountain vacation spots in PA, day trips (Lancaster, Hershey, etc.), professional sports teams, mascots for children and family, info about West Chester,
special local events (free township concerts etc.), local festivals in different townships, local holiday events (parades, Halloween celebrations, etc.), kid friendly activities (different places in this area, bowling, mini golf, go carts etc.), fitness places (YMCA, ACAC, etc.) and local swim clubs. Place filled out forms in baskets in the Narthex or email your recommendations and tips to Carol Olver.

Welcome Holly Steel, our New Finance Assistant!

Holly worked as a civilian for the Department of Defense, and the PA Air National Guard, first as a Price/Cost Analyst, then as a Contracting Officer. She graduated from Penn State University with a BS, and received a Professional Certificate in Accounting from Delaware Community College. She earned a Certification as a Management Accountant in 2007. Holly grew up in Newtown Square and was baptized and confirmed in Messiah Lutheran Church and now is a member at Advent Lutheran in Westtown. She has two beautiful adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. Holly lives in Malvern, with her little All-American Boston Terrier, named Macy. When not working, she enjoys time with her grandkids, gardening, going to the beach, and watching the Phillies baseball games.

Summer Flooding Response Efforts

In response to the devastation caused by flooding in the Midwest this summer, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has been in touch with affected PCUSA presbyteries to coordinate assistance. PDA will work with presbytery leadership in Kentucky, Missouri, and Virginia to provide resources to the impacted communities. Click here to support the PDA's efforts or make checks payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church, and designate “Summer Flooding” in the memo line. We will forward collected funds to PDA. Click here for updates on the response efforts.
