Pick Up Your 2023 Giving Envelope

If you did not opt out of giving envelopes this year, please stop by the Narthex on December 11 to pick up your envelopes. You can also pick them up in the church office starting December 12. We hope to arrange for envelope delivery to the Maris Grove and Wellington communities. Resident volunteers willing to distribute envelopes are needed. Contact Sandy Kurek if you are a resident and willing to help distribute or live in these communities and want your envelopes delivered. Other questions? Contact Sandy Kurek.

Order a Poinsettia

Once again we will adorn our sanctuary with poinsettia plants at Christmas. If you’d like to order a poinsettia plant in memory of or in honor of a loved one or friend, contact Barb Drain with your name and the dedication you would like listed in the bulletin. Cost is $10 this year. Make checks payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church (with poinsettia on memo line) and turn in to the church office. Session also encourages those who wish to make a contribution to the Endowment Fund in memory or honor of a loved one or friend to do so; names will also be listed.

Westminster Hosts Presbytery

Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting our Presbytery's meeting. The Presbytery's worship service was led by the Presbytery's Racial Justice Committee which includes Pastor Jennie Clark and Westminster Trustee, Ann McNally. Musicians included our Director of Music, Tim Evers, soloist Gloria Ballinger and cellist Amy Flynn. West Chester Dance Works performed this liturgical dance, Let Justice Flow, which featured Westminster's own youth dancers, Bella & Sammi Brun. Pastor Don Lincoln, our Lead Pastor from 2000-2022 was also recognized for his years of service in the Presbytery.

Greens, Berries, Pinecones… oh my!

We are in need of fresh cut greens, berries, pinecones, etc. for our Advent Wreath making station during our Las Posadas/Advent gathering on November 27. If you have access to these kinds of things and can offer some, please contact Jill Reichert. We will take all we can get!

New Evening Youth Schedule!!

This Sunday our youth ministry changes its schedule! We kickoff the first youth choir rehearsal at 5 pm. We'll provide dinner for teens from 6-6:30 pm whether they sing in Youth Choir, attend Youth Group or both! Our hope is to provide fellowship together and grow in community with one another. Youth Choir teens are invited and encouraged to stick around for Youth Group, but are also welcome to leave after dinner if needing to get home for the school night. However teens are able to participate, we're really looking forward to building relationships around music, food, fun, and spiritual growth.
