Children & Youth Spiritual Growth Opportunities

9:30 am KidsConnect Celebrate Wonder

We are excited to welcome children back to KidsConnect in person outside as we celebrate with wonder and awe God’s love and all God created. Children will come directly to the courtyard rather than the sanctuary. Children and teachers will be masked. All children Pre-K through 5th grade are welcome.

9:30 am Middle School Sunday School

Youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join us again for a time of exploring faith questions, Bible study, and hands-on activities together in The Site. We will follow all necessary COVID protocols, including all youth and teachers wearing masks. Questions? Contact Chris Clark

9:30 am Shalom (High School)

On select Sundays at 9:30 am, we will hold conversations around social justice topics in The Cove. Shalom (Hebrew word for "peace") provides teens the opportunity to discover how to be peacemakers in their communities and world. The first discussions will be on Oct. 10 &17 - Expansive Imago Dei: LGBTQIA.

5:30 pm Creatorspace Youth Group

Join us in kicking off the youth ministry year! There will be music, snacks, a tie dye station, and some competitive games. We'll be hosting outside with Spellman Hall as our secondary option in case of inclement weather. Click here to register.

Adult Spiritual Growth

10:45 am Journey Class: Let My People Go: Exploring the Opening of the Book of Exodus

September 12 - October 10 • Zoom
This five-week interactive exploration of the opening chapters of the book of Exodus will be led by Dr. Sue Fry. The Book of Exodus has influenced the faith of Jews and Christians alike. Exodus has been inspirational for various voices of liberation. Images of the parting of the Sea and the plagues have been the subject of popular films. This class is a re-reading of Exodus for adults wishing to expand their faith and grow in spiritual trust. All are welcomed to join in all or any sessions as able. Click here to attend. Questions? Contact Jennie Clark.
